You and your dog should feel like a team—a unit, a family—navigating the world together. You brought your dog home, ready to share in every moment, big and small: morning coffee on the porch, camping on the coast, lazy Sundays on the couch, forest hikes, road trips, and neighbourhood strolls.

Instead... walks with your dog feel more like a battle than a break—maybe they’re barking, lunging, pulling with excitement, or struggling with fear, reactivity, or anxiety. Maybe off-leash freedom feels completely out of reach, even though you know your dog deserves that kind of life, leaving you skipping your favourite trails. You might be avoiding having guests over, struggling when family is around, or holding back from your regular routines and opportunities because you’re unsure how your dog will cope. With the right support, your dog can learn to feel safe and settled, no matter the situation.

Our programs focus on helping your dog feel calm, confident, and connected—so you can both fully enjoy everything Vancouver Island has to offer. We’ll help your dog understand what’s expected, settle into their surroundings, and build resilience, while empowering you to feel confident moving through life together.

The In-Home Day Training Program is a lifestyle-based approach that brings the training to your home, your trails, and your routines. It’s built around the life you actually live—and the one you want to live—with your dog.

This program is a great alternative to board and train—your dog stays home while I handle the hard part. Over 15 hours of intensive training, I guide your dog through the first stages of e-collar conditioning, including loose-leash walking, recall, “out,” down-stay, and place, while addressing reactivity, anxiety, overexcitement, and more. You get to take a breather while your dog learns.

The final half-day of the program is the hand-off—when you take the lead. We’ll move through your regular day together—at home, on walks, at the park or café—so you can practice your dog’s new skills in real-life moments. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of how to maintain progress and use the e-collar with confidence and care. After some time to settle into new routines, we’ll reconnect in 3–6 months for a free refresher session to keep you on track.

The program begins with an Initial Session where we assess your dog’s behaviour, discuss your goals, go over methods and equipment, and dive into some hands-on training. It’s also a chance to make sure we’re the right fit before moving forward with a full program.

✓ half Day Coaching Session

✓ daily Progress Report

✓  3 months of email & phone support following completion

The Stay & Train Program is a fully immersive, reset for dogs who need more than just the basics. Your dog lives alongside me and my dogs in a calm, structured environment—learning every moment of the day, both inside the home and out on the trails.

Over the three week stay, I’ll work closely with your dog to carefully condition them to the e-collar, building non-negotiable core obedience skills like heel, recall, place, and sit/down stays. This program also targets your dog’s state of mind through structured management, safety protocols, impulse control, and relaxation work—helping address behaviours such as fear, anxiety, overexcitement, and reactivity.

The final step of the Stay & Train Program is your reconnection—the moment you and your dog come back together. We’ll spend a half day side-by-side, moving through a day you actually live—morning coffee, a walk, time at home, or a visit to the park—folding training naturally into real life. I’ll offer hands-on guidance to help you feel confident and connected. This gentle step helps you integrate everything your dog has learned and settle into a clear, familiar rhythm together.

We'll begin taking on clients September 2025.

Obedience & Behaviour Modification program

$580 + gst
ecollar & prong not included

✓ initial session 1.5 hours + 3 one hour sessions
✓ email and phone support between sessions

This four session program is designed to help you lead and train your dog with confidence. I’ll coach you step by step—teaching you how to communicate clearly, use your tools effectively, and support your dog in becoming calm, focused, and responsive in real life.

We’ll build essential obedience skills like loose-leash walking, recall, place, and stay, while strengthening focus, impulse control, and your dog’s ability to navigate distractions. We’ll also work through behaviour issues such as reactivity, overexcitement, fear, anxiety, door barking, jumping, and leash pulling. (Please note all reactivity cases are addressed using a high-quality ecollar.)You’ll be the one doing the work—guiding your dog through reps, practicing between sessions, and showing up ready to grow each time we meet.

Training begins at home and gradually moves into more distracting environments as you and your dog progress. Everything unfolds at a pace that supports long-lasting change, one layer at a time.

The program begins with an Initial Session where we assess your dog’s behaviour, discuss your goals, go over methods and equipment, and dive into some hands-on training. It’s also a chance to make sure we’re the right fit before moving forward with a full program.

day in a LIfe Program

$425 + gst
ecollar & prong not included

✓ half day of training

✓ email and phone support between sessions

✓ one 1 hour follow-up session

I’ll be honest—this program isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s a deep dive into real-life training, packed into a single, half-day session. You need to be ready to show up, learn, and apply. But if that sounds like you, this might be one of the most rewarding and effective paths forward.

It’s one of my favourite offerings because of how immersive and realistic it is. It’s also a money-saver. You get everything included in my full obedience and behaviour modification program, but bundled into one focused experience. We fold training into your everyday routine—coffee at home, walks through your neighbourhood, park hangs, or even greeting guests. Whether it’s recall, leash pulling, reactivity, anxiety, or structure at home—we’ll work through it in real-time, in the environment it matters most.

This isn’t about rehearsing commands—it’s about learning how to respond in the moment. You’ll get live coaching as situations unfold naturally, with support to adjust your handling, read your dog, and step into your role as a calm, clear leader. Afterward, you’ll take a few weeks to practice, before reconnecting (in person or over video) for a final one-hour session to help you carry everything forward.
